There is nothing better than knocking down a few pins, and knocking back a few
brewskies, with your military buddies after spending a long hard day protecting
our nation. Before you hit the bowling alleys, check out our Bowlers Depot

Bowling Etiquette
Even though bowling is a simple and straightforward sport,
there are a few unspoken rules all bowlers should observe:

One-lane courtesy: When you are bowling, it is
important to observe a one-lane courtesy to the bowlers on either side of
you. Do not step on the approach until the bowler next to you has let go of
the ball. It is distracting to have a bowler right next to you, and can be
dangerous if there is a collision.

Ask for a specific lane: If you know your bowling
buddies tend to get a little rowdy after a few pitchers of beer, ask for a
lane out of the way of the other bowlers.

Silence saves slipups: Try not to make loud or sudden
noises while others are on the approach. Like golf, the slightest sudden
noise or movement can throw a bowlers' concentration.

Clean up spills ASAP: Wet bowling shoes can be
catastrophic! Remember that some drinks sweat and that even a small amount
of water absorbed into the shoe can cause a bowler to stick when delivering
the ball.

Observe the foul line: Observing the foul line, even
in casual play, is important to avoid scoring confusion, arguments and
bowling accidents. The surface beyond the foul line is oiled and very
slippery!

Never bowl in street shoes: Wearing street shoes when
bowling is a common rookie mistake. If you forget to bring your bowling
shoes, rent a pair from either the pro shop or the bowling alley. Unlike
street shoes, bowling shoes are made to slide properly on the bowling lane's
